Town Hall Series engages community with local schools and state representatives

Cincinnati Public Schools (CPS) celebrated several achievements during its Board Business Meeting on May 5, 2025, highlighting community engagement and student accomplishments. The meeting opened with a recognition of Rebecca Beach, who received the Celebrate Excellence Award, underscoring the district's commitment to honoring outstanding contributions within the educational community.

The board expressed gratitude to Pleasant Ridge Montessori, Gamble Montessori High School, and two schools in the Education Center for hosting the Town Hall Series. This initiative allowed state representatives and Senator Catherine Ingram to engage directly with the community, fostering dialogue and collaboration.

Additionally, the citywide student art exhibition was acknowledged, showcasing the creativity and talent of CPS students. The recent "Rock the Block" event, held in partnership with the City of Cincinnati at Withrow University High School, was also celebrated, emphasizing the district's efforts to connect with the local community.

The meeting further highlighted significant educational milestones, including the early IT graduation with the University of Cincinnati and the TriHealth School to Work graduation. These programs reflect CPS's dedication to providing students with diverse pathways to success.
