Finance committee discusses $150K consultant proposal amidst DPW facility debate

Other residents, such as Bernie Dennis from Greenside Lane, raised concerns about the economic climate and the uncertainty surrounding inflation and construction costs. Dennis suggested that it may be prudent to delay the project until these variables are better understood.

Conversely, Brian Levine from Skyline Drive advocated for the project, citing the adverse health conditions faced by Department of Public Works (DPW) workers due to the current facility's state. He argued that the well-being of employees should take precedence.

The meeting also included requests for clearer communication regarding ballot questions and the mechanics of tax overrides, indicating a desire for greater transparency in local governance.
