The Hoboken Public School District is celebrating a series of remarkable achievements as it prepares to launch a new strategic plan aimed at enhancing educational outcomes for its diverse student body. During a recent Board of Education meeting, officials highlighted the district's commitment to providing a comprehensive educational experience from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade, serving students across nine preschool locations, three elementary schools, a middle school, and a high school.
Key accomplishments were showcased, including a record-breaking $20 million in college scholarships awarded to Hoboken High School students and 151 college acceptances. The district also achieved a new high with 77 AP College Board Scholar awards and 53 recipients of the Seal of Biliteracy in multiple languages. Notably, Hoboken's schools have been recognized as the best community for music education and have received high performance status from the New Jersey Department of Education.
