Planning commission approves conditions for county water project near technology park

In a recent government meeting held in Villa Rica, Carroll County, significant discussions centered around a proposed development project that has raised both logistical and regulatory concerns. Currently, water services in Villa Rica are managed by the county, while power remains under the jurisdiction of Georgia Power. The first condition requires that water unionization, sewer capacity, and conveyance be established through a development agreement with the city.
