Adams County Commissioners proclaim May 2025 Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month

The Adams County Board of Commissioners held a public hearing on May 6, 2025, where they proclaimed May as Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. It also referenced the 2025 theme for the month, "A Legacy of Leadership and Resilience," which symbolizes the adaptability and perseverance of these communities while acknowledging ongoing challenges.

The board encouraged all residents to participate in activities that promote Asian American and Pacific Islander heritage throughout the month. The meeting concluded with a call for public comments, but no attendees signed up to speak.
