Team Up Academy enhances workforce skills with vocational certifications and church partnerships

A new initiative aimed at enhancing workforce development for veterans and community members took center stage during a recent meeting of the Michigan Legislature's Subcommittee on Labor and Economic Opportunity. Notably, the program is collaborating with Lincoln Electric to establish a certified welding center, which will expand its offerings by the end of the year.

The meeting also touched on the partnership between TeamUp Academy and Landmark Church, which plays a vital role in providing mentorship and support to participants. This collaboration aims to instill a sense of purpose and community among individuals seeking to enhance their skills and job prospects.
