Furthermore, local funding for Ottawa County Public Schools and the Ottawa Technical Center will increase by $91,485.
On the revenue side, the board projected increases in several areas, including machinery and tools taxes by $30,000, local sales taxes by $25,000, and business license fees by $30,000. There is also an anticipated increase of $100,000 in revenue from interest and state reimbursements.
In terms of the landfill budget, the board reported a decrease from $1,291,471 to $1,202,575 based on year-to-date expense reports and audits. The general fund transfer to support the landfill fund will be $341,471 for FY 2025.
