Chandler Unified recognizes Basha Indoor Percussion Ensemble for 13th state title

Chandler Unified School District celebrated a remarkable achievement at its recent governing board meeting, honoring the Basha Indoor Percussion Ensemble (BIPE) for securing their thirteenth state title in Arizona. Board member Serrano introduced the ensemble, which is primarily composed of members from the Basha Bear Regiment marching band, but is open to all students at Basha High School.

The ensemble's success has propelled them to compete at the prestigious WGI Winter Guard International World Championship in Dayton, Ohio, scheduled for April. This nationally ranked event showcases the best of indoor percussion, and BIPE's participation highlights the talent and dedication of its members.

The recognition of BIPE not only celebrates their hard work and achievements but also emphasizes the importance of arts and music education within the Chandler community. As they prepare for their upcoming competition, the ensemble's journey serves as an inspiration for students and a point of pride for the district.
