Kings Fork High School honors 35 graduates and $10M in scholarships

During the recent Suffolk City Public School Board meeting held on May 8, 2025, a significant highlight was the recognition of honor graduates from Kings Fork High School. This annual presentation, led by Principal Derek Bryant, celebrated the academic achievements of the school's senior class, which consists of 392 students. Among them, 35 were distinguished as honor graduates.

Principal Bryant shared impressive statistics, noting that the class of 2025 has collectively earned over $10.2 million in scholarships, a figure that is expected to rise as additional scholarship opportunities are still being finalized. School Counseling Director Cassandra Riquizzo emphasized the students' accomplishments, highlighting that they received over 933 acceptance letters from various colleges.
