Lehi City Council approves $31M Pioneer Crossing and SR 241 improvements

The Utah Transportation Commission made significant strides in improving local infrastructure during its meeting on May 9, 2025, with a focus on funding enhancements for several key projects. The meeting also addressed the US 6 Chicken Hollow to Tie Fork project, which will widen the road and improve safety features, including the addition of median barriers. This project aims to enhance safety along the US 6 corridor, with one commissioner expressing optimism about the gradual improvements being made.

Lastly, the commission discussed bridge replacements in the Ellwood Town area, emphasizing the importance of supporting agricultural transport needs. The bridges will be upgraded to accommodate larger farming equipment, reflecting the commission's commitment to enhancing infrastructure for the agricultural community.
