Ridgewood honors police officers with sergeant promotions and commendations for service

The Village Council of Ridgewood held a significant meeting on April 10, 2025, where community appreciation and police commendations took center stage. The gathering celebrated the contributions of local organizations and honored police officers for their exemplary service.

Stacy, a representative from Health Barn, expressed heartfelt gratitude towards the Ridgewood community and the Village Council, highlighting the strong relationships built over the years. She emphasized the importance of the Gatehouse at Habernacle, referring to it as a home for many, and thanked the council for their ongoing support.

The meeting also marked a pivotal moment for the Ridgewood Police Department as two officers, Douglas Boucher and Joseph De Benedetto, were sworn in as sergeants.
