Developer Nikhil unveils Woodhaven project plans for Lafayette site

The Design Review Commission of Lafayette convened on May 13, 2025, to discuss the proposed Woodhaven project, a significant development aimed at enhancing the community's vitality and charm. Nikhil introduced Paul Farah from Ascend Architecture, who provided an overview of the Woodhaven project located at 3742 Mount Diablo. The proposal includes a six-story building featuring 31 residential units, designed to meet the city's density requirements. The project also proposes a temporary drop-off area for ride-sharing services, enhancing accessibility for residents and visitors.

Throughout the presentation, Farah emphasized the variety of unit types available, catering to diverse buyer preferences while maintaining a cohesive architectural style. The design incorporates ample outdoor spaces, including balconies for residents, and aims to create a village-like atmosphere through thoughtful facade articulation.
