Northglenn prepares for food truck carnival with parking and traffic updates

Northglenn residents can look forward to an exciting weekend as the Food Truck Carnival is set to take place from May 16 to May 18. This vibrant event promises a variety of attractions, including rides, food trucks, and live music, ensuring a fun-filled experience for attendees of all ages.

Due to the expected turnout, parking will be limited. Organizers recommend using the Wagon Road lot and walking through the tunnel to reach EB Raines Memorial Park. For those who may require assistance, a shuttle service will be available.

In preparation for the carnival, traffic adjustments will be in effect. Community Center Drive will be closed for the duration of the event, and Memorial Parkway will also close starting Wednesday, May 14, at 4 PM. Residents needing access to the Northglenn Rec Center, Parsons Theater, or requiring handicapped parking are advised to enter from the south side of Community Center Drive, where staff will provide directions.
