Muskogee Mayor Kale proclaims May 2025 as Public Service Recognition and ALS Awareness Month

Public service took center stage at the Muskogee City Council meeting on May 12, 2025, as Mayor Patrick Kale proclaimed the week of May 5-11 as Public Service Recognition Week. Additionally, the council recognized May 2025 as Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Awareness Month. The proclamation aimed to raise awareness about this progressive neurodegenerative disease, which affects thousands annually.
