Principal Tadlock highlights Woodland Hills Elementary achievements and community service initiatives

Woodland Hills Elementary is making significant strides in student engagement and community involvement, as highlighted by Principal Jennifer Tadlock during the recent Lawton Public Schools Board of Education meeting. The school is focused on building foundational skills for its students, utilizing innovative programs like Waterford, Lexia, and Exact Path, which have received positive feedback from both students and educators.

This year, kindergarten and first-grade students are particularly benefiting from these programs, which aim to empower every learner daily. The school has also introduced Lexia Bridal, a system where resource teachers monitor student progress, ensuring they stay on track with their learning objectives. Celebrating student achievements is a key aspect of the school's culture, with initiatives like "Students of the Month" and various competitions that foster a sense of community and accomplishment.
