Rockwall City Council certifies May 2025 election results electing Tim McCallum as mayor

In the race for Council Member Place 3, Melba L. Jeffers secured victory with 3,169 votes (76.32%), defeating Jules Quarter IV, who garnered 983 votes (23.68%).

For Council Member Place 5, Dennis Lewis won with 2,015 votes (45.97%), followed by Karen J. Williams with 1,322 votes (30.16%) and Tan Lee with 1,046 votes (23.86%).

The council unanimously approved the resolution to canvass the election results. The newly elected council members are set to take their oaths of office at the next regular city council meeting on May 19, 2025, in accordance with the city charter.
