Red Oak ISD Community Partner Academy celebrates 11 graduates in educational commitment

The Red Oak Independent School District (ISD) celebrated the achievements of its Community Partner Academy participants during the regular school board meeting on May 12, 2025. Karen Anderson, executive director of the Red Oak ISD Education Foundation, highlighted the commitment of 11 individuals who completed a six-month program designed to deepen their understanding of the district's operations and educational impact.

Participants attended monthly sessions, engaging with various departments, including curriculum, human resources, and instructional technology. They also toured school facilities and received recognition for their efforts, culminating in a graduation ceremony where they were awarded certificates and shirts.

In addition to the Community Partner Academy, the meeting featured an announcement from Jennifer Riddle, the elementary math and science coordinator, regarding the district's nominees for the National Math Stars program. This initiative, launched in 2023, aims to identify and support top math performers among students in Texas, providing them with resources to enhance their skills.

The meeting underscored Red Oak ISD's commitment to community engagement and academic excellence, showcasing the district's efforts to foster partnerships and recognize student achievements.
