Riverside County Carnival extends to seven days with themed nights

The City of Lake Elsinore is gearing up for an exciting community event as the Riverside County Carnival prepares to kick off next weekend, coinciding with Memorial Day. This year, the carnival will expand to a full week of festivities, running for seven days, a significant increase from last year's three-day Family Fun Fest.

One of the highlights will be "Halfway to Halloween," where children can enjoy trick-or-treating at the carnival, with organizers planning to distribute hundreds of pounds of candy.

In a fun twist, carnival organizers have invited city council members, including the city manager and city attorney, to participate in a dunk tank, encouraging community engagement and a light-hearted atmosphere. Tickets for the event are priced at $10 if purchased online and $15 at the gate, making it an affordable outing for families.
