Kansas Board evaluates new career and technical education credentials for high school students

The Kansas State Board of Education convened on May 14, 2025, to discuss significant updates regarding teacher preparation programs and career and technical education (CTE) pathways, both of which have direct implications for students and educators across the state.

A key focus of the meeting was the evaluation of new teacher preparation programs from Emporia State University and Kansas State University.
