Nueces County officials approve funding for medical services and community health initiatives

Nueces County officials are taking significant steps to enhance public safety and community services following a recent Commissioner’s Court meeting held on May 14, 2025. A key decision made during the meeting was the approval of funding aimed at upgrading essential infrastructure for the Robstown Police and Fire Departments. Mayor of Robstown, who attended the meeting, expressed gratitude for the financial support, emphasizing that the investment will lead to improved public service and safety for the community.

The police department operates out of a building established in 1929, while the fire department's structure dates back to 1918.
