Mayor accelerates funding for Sacramento San Joaquin Delta Conservancy and community services

In a recent meeting of the Assembly Budget Subcommittee No. 4 on Climate Crisis, Resources, Energy, and Transportation, significant funding initiatives were discussed that aim to bolster California's efforts in addressing climate change and supporting local communities.

One of the key highlights was the acceleration of $4 million allocated to the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta Conservancy. This funding is intended to mitigate the risks associated with climate change impacts on vital resources, particularly through time-sensitive land acquisitions.
