Cape Central High School celebrates graduation of Class of 2024 with diploma distribution

Cape Central High School celebrated a momentous occasion as it honored the graduating class of 2025 during a ceremony held on May 17, 2025. The event marked a significant milestone for the students, who are now poised to embark on their next chapter after years of hard work and dedication.

As the ceremony unfolded, graduates were called to the stage, where their names were announced, highlighting the achievements of each individual. The list included students such as Sierra Shanae Lane, Tamia Kiana Lashay Larry, and Addison Lane Lincoln, among many others, showcasing the diverse talents and backgrounds of the graduating class.

In addition to the traditional diploma presentation, the ceremony featured important announcements. Graduates were instructed to proceed from the big gym to the small gym to collect their diploma packets. Mr. Nolan Cook from the Career and Technology Center recorded the event, ensuring that families and friends could later view the ceremony on YouTube, allowing for shared memories of this significant day.

As the ceremony drew to a close, graduates participated in the traditional movement of their tassels, symbolizing their readiness to transition from students to graduates.
