Brianna Brown returns to CBPA to sing national anthem and mentor students

Central VPA High School celebrated a momentous occasion on May 17, 2025, as it honored its graduating class with a heartfelt commencement ceremony. The event featured a special performance by Brianna Brown, a distinguished alumna and former CDPA graduate, who captivated the audience with her rendition of the national anthem.

Brianna, who graduated in 2014, has made significant strides in her music career since her time at Central VPA. She first gained recognition during her graduation ceremony when she performed her original song, "Stay With Me." Over the past decade, she has achieved remarkable success, including participating in the inaugural Live Your Dream concert sponsored by the Kwame Foundation and securing her first recording contract shortly after graduation.

Her impressive career has seen her open for Grammy-nominated artists and perform at various high-profile venues, including Blues and Saint Louis City games. Today, Brianna returns to her roots, serving as an artistic specialist at Central VPA, where she inspires and mentors aspiring artists.
