Canyon Lake High School track team prepares for relays and hurdles

The Comal Independent School District Board of Trustees meeting on May 15, 2025, highlighted the achievements of student-athletes from Canyon Lake High School's track team. The meeting recognized several standout performers, including Aubrey Avery, who competes in the 4 by 100 meter relay and the 300 hurdles, and Shanna Couture, who participates in the 4 by 200 meter relay.

Other notable athletes mentioned were Tia Gonzales, also in the 4 by 100 and 4 by 200 meter relays, and Kennedy Bridal, who competes in both relays as well. Hannah Hammer was acknowledged for her performance in the 1,600 meter race, while Savannah Oberholzer was noted for her participation in the 4 by 100 and 4 by 200 meter relays.
