Ballantyne Ridge High School honors freshman cadet Bridal McLendon for leadership and caring

Under the bright lights of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools Board of Education meeting, a sense of pride and accomplishment filled the air as students were recognized for their hard work and dedication. Among them was Army Cadet Bridal McLendon, a freshman at the newly opened Ballantyne Ridge High School. With a passion for history and science, McLendon not only excels academically but also shines as an athlete and a budding designer, creating custom shoes in his spare time. His enthusiasm was palpable as he led the audience in the Pledge of Allegiance and shared a heartfelt essay on the importance of caring for others.
