Midland Planning Commission approves Green Hill Terrace church preliminary plat

A significant development took center stage at the Midland Planning and Zoning meeting on May 19, 2025, as the commission unanimously approved a preliminary plat for Green Hill Terrace, Section 19. This decision paves the way for a new church to be built on a 6.9-acre site located at 606 Fird Drive, just north of Tanforan Avenue.

During the public hearing, no objections were raised against the proposal, and the commission received support from community members. Commissioner O'Field motioned for approval, which was seconded by Commissioner Garza, leading to a swift vote that passed the motion 5-0.
