Tourism is a significant driver of economic activity in Indian River County, with over 10,000 jobs directly linked to the industry. In 2024, Florida welcomed approximately 142.9 million visitors, contributing over $2.36 trillion to the national economy. The local tourism sector alone generated $712.8 million in visitor spending in 2023, marking an 8.7% increase from the previous year. This spending supports various sectors, including lodging, food and beverage, and entertainment.
