East Stroudsburg District honors MCTI rep and board member for contributions

In a heartfelt conclusion to the East Stroudsburg Area School District's regular board meeting on May 19, board members expressed their gratitude to outgoing MCTI representative, Naylor. Acknowledging Naylor's two years of dedicated service, the board highlighted the importance of having a representative from the Monroe Career and Technical Institute (MCTI) to bridge connections within the district.

"Thank you for stepping up to the plate," one board member remarked, praising Naylor's commitment and effectiveness in the role. The meeting also featured a light-hearted moment as board members presented Naylor with a token of appreciation, a photo keychain, which was met with laughter and joy.

In addition to celebrating Naylor's contributions, the board recognized another member for achieving her MBA while balancing her responsibilities as a parent, financial adviser, and board member. "I don’t know how she did it all, but she did it very, very well," a fellow board member noted, underscoring the dedication and hard work of the district's leadership.

As the meeting wrapped up, members wished each other a good summer, reinforcing the sense of community and support that characterizes the East Stroudsburg Area School District.
