Sweetwater County prepares for National High School bridal rodeo amid sponsor challenges

The board discussed plans to showcase Sweetwater County, Rock Springs, and Green River as sponsors for the event, which is set for July 19. This year’s rodeo promises to be a celebration, complete with a presentation award ceremony to honor the community's commitment to the event.

In addition to the rodeo preparations, the board touched on the Sweetwater Events Complex, which recently held a light agenda meeting via Zoom. Improvements to the grounds are underway, ensuring that the venue remains a vibrant hub for community activities throughout the summer.

As the meeting wrapped up, officials expressed optimism about future collaborations and the potential for extending existing guidelines for another 20 to 25 years, contingent on agreements among various groups.
