Richmond City Council reviews ordinances for wage standards and parks funding

Additionally, the committee introduced a proposal for a disposable plastic bag tax, aimed at reducing environmental impact. Laura Thomas, Director of the Office of Sustainability, presented the initiative, which seeks to implement a fee on plastic bags throughout the city.
