Queen Creek officials propose FTE increase amid population growth and park funding support

Queen Creek is poised for growth as the Town Council discussed significant budgetary changes during their regular session on May 21, 2025. The town's population is projected to rise from 83,000 in 2024 to 89,000 in 2025, marking an 8% increase. In response to this growth, the council plans to add 16 full-time equivalent positions (FTEs) outside of public safety, representing a 4% increase in staffing levels.
