Dixon County Board honors Shane Thompson and Brian Fuller for bus driver achievements

During the recent Dickson County Board of Education meeting, significant recognition was given to local educators and community members who have made impactful contributions to the school system. Ms. Manley, a retired teacher, continues to influence students positively, while Dr. Allen shared insights about his work with the Allen Heritage Foundation. This foundation, established in honor of his mother, aims to enhance STEM education and support students through initiatives like the Allen Heritage Scholars program. This program offers scholarships to exceptional students who complete research projects, with over $42,000 awarded in the past five years.
