Angola Gardens Club beautifies community with new flower plantings

The Angola Common Council meeting held on May 19, 2025, began with a commendation for the Angola Gardens Club, highlighting their recent efforts in beautifying the community. Council members expressed appreciation for the hard work and dedication of the club's members, who have successfully planted flowers that enhance the appearance of the mound.

The council acknowledged the contributions of the Landscape Garden Center, which donated some of the flowers used in the project. The remaining flowers were purchased by the Angola Gardens Club, showcasing their commitment to improving the local environment.

In addition to the gardening efforts, the council noted that the uptown area is currently adorned with decorations in preparation for the upcoming high school graduation. Sixteen banners have been displayed, and additional decorations have been placed on the windows of local buildings. The graduation ceremony is scheduled for May 30, which adds to the community's festive atmosphere.
