Arise Restoration seeks window update for historic Poplar Avenue home post-fire

Both a 2004 and a 2020 survey confirmed the house's historic integrity, despite a mid-1990s addition.

During the meeting, it was noted that the proposed window replacements would not alter the overall appearance of the house, as they would maintain the original design. The windows in question are located on the east and north facades of the home, which are part of the original structure rather than the later addition.

The commission discussed the importance of preserving the historical character of the property while allowing for necessary repairs.
