Victoria City Council administers oaths to new council members Lofgren and Young

During the recent City Council meeting in Victoria, Texas, community recognition and new leadership took center stage. The council celebrated the achievements of two city employees, Zach Wendell and Keisha Smith, who recently earned notable certifications in public management and nonprofit leadership, respectively. Wendell, a community development planner, received his graduate certificate from the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University, while Smith, the special projects manager in the city manager's office, earned her certificate with distinction from the Nonprofit Leadership Academy at the Nonprofit Center at UHB.
