St. Charles approves new Farmers Market location at former police department site

The City Council of Saint Charles has approved several community events aimed at enhancing local engagement and support for various causes during their recent meeting on May 21, 2025.

One of the key decisions was the relocation of the annual Farmers Market to the parking lot of the old police department at 211 North Riverside Ave. This market will operate on Fridays from June through October, providing a vibrant space for local vendors and food trucks. Lastly, the St. Charles Business Alliance received approval for the use of First Street Plaza during the Jazz Weekend from September 11 to 14, 2025, featuring live music performances that promise to enrich the community's cultural landscape.
