Mayor Matsumoto Wright leads discussion on viewing platform and community engagement plans

The State of the City event, held the previous night, was well-attended and enjoyed by participants, with a video now available on the city’s website for those who missed it. Looking ahead, the council noted that city offices would be closed for Memorial Day and that there would be no meeting on the fifth Thursday of the month. A flag-raising ceremony for Pride Month is scheduled for June 2, inviting community members to participate. Additionally, the council is preparing for a discussion on the implementation of flock cameras, with efforts underway to ensure public awareness and encourage community feedback.
