Mountain View High School honors class of 2025 at graduation ceremony

Mountain View High School celebrated its graduating class of 2025 during a heartfelt ceremony held on May 24, 2025. The event, marked by a sense of pride and accomplishment, featured welcoming remarks from the student body president, who acknowledged the contributions of the school's administration, faculty, and distinguished guests.

Principal Kevin Henshaw, along with assistant principals Ingrid Andromedus, Jason Flinders, Corey Thomas, and Kurt Wollinson, were recognized for their leadership. The ceremony also honored board member Ada Wilson, superintendent Dr. Shane Farnsworth, and other key figures in the education community, including five retirees who collectively dedicated 157 years to serving students.

Among the highlights of the ceremony was the recognition of top academic achievers from the class of 2025, including three students graduating with associate's degrees from Utah Valley University. The audience was invited to applaud these exemplary students for their hard work and dedication.

The ceremony included a moving performance of the national anthem by vocal performance Sterling scholar Kaisa Judd, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance led by Elliot Hendricks. The program concluded with a musical presentation by the Mountain View combined Symphonic Orchestra and Wind Symphony, directed by retiree John Bowman.

This graduation ceremony not only celebrated the achievements of the students but also reflected the strong community support and commitment to education at Mountain View High School. As the graduates embark on their next chapter, the school community looks forward to their future successes.
