Sharyland ISD honors 2025 valedictorians and outstanding student achievements

In the heart of Sharyland, Texas, the Sharyland Independent School District Board convened on May 19, 2025, to celebrate the achievements of its students and discuss important district matters. The meeting, marked by a sense of community and pride, began with an invocation led by board member David Keith, followed by a heartfelt pledge of allegiance recited by members of the Hinojosa Elementary Student Council.

The spotlight of the evening shone brightly on three exceptional valedictorians from the Class of 2025: Aylin Montserrat Roman, Madison Hernandez, and Garrison Austin Byram. Aylin, set to attend Texas A&M University, reflected on the value of living in the moment, while Madison, bound for the University of Texas at Austin, encouraged her peers to take risks. The board also honored the Sharyland High School Indoor Percussion Ensemble for their undefeated season and state championship win, alongside the baseball and golf teams for their remarkable achievements in regional competitions.
