Mayor's Youth Council members share experiences at Frisco City Council meeting

Frisco's youth took the spotlight at the City Council meeting on May 6, 2025, showcasing their love for the community and its amenities. Students from various local elementary schools shared their favorite aspects of living in Frisco, highlighting the city's parks, cleanliness, and friendly neighborhoods.

Among the young voices was Faizon from McSpadden Elementary, who expressed his appreciation for the kindness of the community. Musa from Shawnee Elementary echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the enjoyment found in local parks. Other students, like Adan from Horizons Academy, praised Frisco's cleanliness, while Zara from Bledsoe Elementary simply stated, "I like everything about Frisco."

The enthusiasm continued with mentions of favorite activities, including swimming, soccer, and ice cream. The students' presentations not only reflected their personal experiences but also underscored the vibrant community spirit that defines Frisco.

Following the students' heartfelt presentations, Nicholas Griffin from the Mayor's Youth Council thanked the council for the opportunity to participate, indicating that the lessons learned would be evident in their upcoming presentation on Rio Frisco.
