The Alcohol License Review Committee of Madison has made significant strides in its latest meeting on May 29, 2025, approving a key license transfer that will enhance local business offerings. The committee unanimously approved the transfer of an alcohol license for Coco Vah Chocolatier, a well-established chocolate business, to its new location at 10 Odana Court.
Owner Soyovada Adari, a retired criminal defense attorney, detailed her journey of transforming the new space into a chocolate production and retail facility. Adari emphasized that while alcohol is not the primary focus of her business, it plays a supportive role in enhancing customer experiences through tastings and pairings. The new location allows for expanded operations, including a patio for outdoor events and a larger seating capacity, which was previously limited due to space constraints at her former site on East Washington Avenue.
