City Council approves drive-through restaurant project on State Avenue

Billings City Council has taken a significant step towards enhancing local amenities by approving a special review for a new drive-through food service restaurant and laundromat at 4140 State Avenue. During the regular meeting on May 27, 2025, the council unanimously supported the project, which aims to provide essential services to nearby residents.

The proposal, presented by neighborhood planner Tate Johnson, includes a drive-through service that will operate under specific conditions to mitigate potential impacts on the adjacent residential area. The drive-through will be limited to operating hours from 5 AM to 10 PM, aligning with local noise ordinances.
