Boys and Girls Club of Sierra Vista reopens renovated location for summer programs

The Boys and Girls Club of Sierra Vista is set to reopen its main location just in time for summer programs, following extensive renovations aimed at enhancing facilities for local youth. King Jay, a representative from the club, shared exciting updates during a recent segment on First Watch, emphasizing the club's commitment to providing a safe and enriching environment for children in Cochise County.

The renovations have expanded the gym, allowing the club to accommodate more kids and offer a wider range of sports activities. With the summer program kicking off on Monday, the club will operate Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, providing breakfast and lunch for participants. Jay highlighted the importance of the club's role in supporting academic success, character development, and healthy lifestyles for children aged 6 to 17.

The summer program will feature guest speakers, field trips, and a variety of in-house activities, including STEM projects and arts and crafts. A key component of the program is "Power Hour," where kids receive homework assistance, ensuring they stay on track academically while enjoying their summer.

Parents interested in enrolling their children can attend an open house today from 2:30 PM to 5 PM at the club's main location on Paseo San Luis.
