Scholarship recipients honored for exemplifying school values during ceremony

The Ridgeline High School Graduation Ceremony, held on May 30, 2025, commenced with essential announcements and safety instructions. The event began with a request for attention to address an urgent matter regarding a vehicle that needed to be moved, specifically calling out Mason Porter. Following this, the audience was informed about emergency evacuation procedures, emphasizing the importance of identifying exits in case of an emergency.

As the ceremony progressed, the focus shifted to recognizing students who exemplified key values such as effective communication, strong character, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity. These values were highlighted as essential traits developed over the students' four years at Ridgeline High School.

Thanks to an anonymous donor, five students were awarded scholarships of $1,000 each for their outstanding representation of these values. The recipients included Jensen Budge for effective communication, Connor Byrd for strong character, Ben Tenney for collaboration, Mikael Winger for critical thinking, and Olivia Parker for creativity.

The ceremony concluded with a celebration of the achievements of all graduates, marking a significant milestone in their educational journey. The recognition of these students not only highlighted individual accomplishments but also underscored the school's commitment to fostering essential life skills among its students.
