Sherryland ISD board honors staff and top students at graduation ceremony

The Sharyland Pioneer High School Commencement Ceremony for the Class of 2025 took place on May 22, 2025, with a focus on honoring the achievements of students and recognizing the contributions of staff and administration. The event commenced with expressions of gratitude towards the community for their ongoing support and commitment to excellence in education.

The ceremony featured the introduction of the Sherryland ISD Board of Trustees for the 2024-2025 academic year, including Board President Maritza Venezia, Vice President Hector Rivera, Secretary David Keith, and other members. Superintendent Elaine Howard was also acknowledged for her leadership, alongside key district administrators such as Chief Administrative Officer Hiberto Hinojosa Jr. and Chief Instruction Officer Pam Montalvo.

A significant portion of the ceremony was dedicated to recognizing the hard work of the Sherryland ISD staff, including campus principals, teachers, coaches, and support personnel.
