Boulder Junction Access District swears in new commissioners Kevin Frause and Daniel Eastman

Boulder Junction is set to welcome new leadership as the Boulder Junction Access District (BJAD) Parking Commission held a significant meeting on May 31, 2025. The meeting marked a transition period with the farewell of three departing commissioners—Sue Prant, Ryan Cook, and Jennifer Schreiber—who were recognized for their contributions to the community.

Ryan Cook, who has served longer than his original term, received heartfelt thanks from fellow commissioners for his dedication during challenging times. As a token of appreciation, he was presented with a commemorative print to honor his service.

The meeting also welcomed two new commissioners, Kevin Frause and Daniel Eisenman, who were sworn in to their respective roles. Frause will serve on the Travel Demand Management Commission, while Eisenman will hold positions on both the Travel Demand Management and Parking Commissions. Their appointments are expected to bring fresh perspectives to the ongoing discussions about transportation and parking in Boulder Junction.

In addition to the new appointments, the commission addressed the need for leadership elections. With the current vice chair stepping down, the group nominated Rebecca as the new vice chair, ensuring continuity in leadership. The commission also discussed ongoing recruitment efforts to fill vacancies, particularly emphasizing the need for owner representatives from the Boulder Junction area.

The meeting concluded with an invitation for public participation, although no members of the public chose to comment. As the commission moves forward, the focus will remain on enhancing transportation demand management and parking strategies to better serve the Boulder community. The next steps include actively recruiting new members and addressing the challenges posed by current vacancies.
