Will Shepherd, representing Boulder Transportation Connections, shared this exciting news during the recent TDM & Parking Joint Commissions Meeting, highlighting the growing momentum of Transportation Demand Management (TDM) initiatives in the area.
Shepherd reported a surge in EcoPass requests, indicating increased engagement from residents and employees as new businesses onboard in the district. "I've probably activated 30 EcoPasses in the last two weeks," he noted, reflecting the vibrant activity within Boulder Junction.

Shepherd emphasized the importance of this milestone, stating, "It's a really big occasion that marks efforts from all of the stakeholders in our community." The exact date for the celebration is still being finalized, but the anticipation is building.
In addition to the station reopening, Shepherd discussed ongoing public engagement regarding the North 30th core material network, which is crucial for infrastructure development in the district. A final design proposal is expected to be presented to the city council soon, with a feedback session scheduled for later that day.
Looking ahead, Boulder Junction is also preparing for Bike to Work Day on June 25, expecting hundreds of commuters to participate. The event will promote various modes of transportation, expanding beyond just cycling.
