Oceana High School celebrates Class of 2025 with student poem debut

Families and friends gathered at Oceana High School to celebrate the graduation of the Class of 2025 in a heartfelt ceremony that highlighted the achievements and experiences of the students. Principal Maritza Torres opened the event by acknowledging the presence of key figures, including Vice Principals Jose Campos and Shao Leung, Superintendent Tony Presta, and Trustee Andy Lee, emphasizing the community's support for the graduates.

In a new tradition aimed at showcasing the unique voices of the graduating class, the ceremony featured an original poem performed by graduate Ashley Rain Anicletto.
