Dunnellon High School celebrated the achievements of its Class of 2025 during a heartfelt commencement ceremony on June 2, 2025. With 320 graduates, the ceremony highlighted the academic and athletic successes of the students, showcasing their hard work and dedication.
Notably, 54% of the graduates earned a GPA of 3.0 or higher, with 113 students achieving a GPA of 3.5 or above. Among the graduates, eight students completed their Associate of Arts degree from the College of Central Florida, and one student will attend the prestigious United States Naval Academy this fall. These accomplishments reflect the high academic standards upheld at Dunnellon High School.

The football team finished the season with an impressive 8-4 record, claiming the district championship and advancing to the second round of the playoffs. The girls' basketball team also made it to the second round of playoffs, and one student athlete was recognized as Marion County Athlete of the Year. Furthermore, 13 graduates signed to play sports at the collegiate level, marking another significant achievement for the Class of 2025.
The ceremony also paid tribute to the families and faculty who supported the graduates throughout their journey. A special recognition was given to students enlisting in the military, with a call for all veterans and active service members in attendance to stand in solidarity with these graduates.
The accomplishments of the Class of 2025 not only highlight individual successes but also reflect the strong community support that has fostered their growth. As they embark on their next chapters, the impact of their achievements will resonate within the Dunnellon community for years to come.
