Class of 2025 celebrates success with 72% heading to college or university

The Jensen Beach High School Class of 2025 is set to celebrate a significant milestone with 373 students graduating this year, showcasing impressive academic and extracurricular achievements. Among them, Amanda, the class recording secretary and PTSA historian, stands out for her leadership and dedication. She has actively participated in seven clubs and played varsity volleyball, all while maintaining a remarkable 4.0 unweighted GPA and a 6.2 weighted GPA, placing her in the top third of her class. Amanda plans to attend the University of Florida to major in nursing and minor in business.

This year, approximately 72% of the graduating class, or 268 students, will continue their education at colleges and universities, with 222 remaining in Florida and 46 venturing out of state. Additionally, 33 students will pursue trade school, while 72 will enter the workforce directly.

The Class of 2025 has also made notable strides in career and technical education (CTE), with 265 seniors participating in CTE courses and earning a total of 296 industry certifications. Furthermore, 113 students are eligible for articulation credit at Indian River College (IRC), and 232 students have achieved gold seal certifications. Impressively, six seniors have earned their associate degrees from IRC, highlighting the diverse pathways and opportunities available to the graduates.

As the commencement ceremony approaches, the achievements of the Class of 2025 reflect a strong commitment to education and community involvement, setting a promising foundation for their future endeavors.
